The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development would like to emphasize the need to protect children and not to exploit them for commercial marketing and advertising purposes, in accordance with Article 3 of the Child Protection Law and Executive Regulations thereof.

The Law aims to protect children from the dangers of exposure to large crowds that negatively affect their developmental stages and may cause them to experience stress and anxiety that contradict their age and make them vulnerable to bullying among their peers.

This note coincides with the Ministry's monitoring of some non-profit organizations that use children in the activity of Ramadan donation campaigns and marketing communication campaigns, as well as recent violations related to the exploitation of children for commercial purposes in violation of the Child Protection Law and Executive Regulations thereof, so the Ministry stresses in this context that it will take legal measures in accordance with Article 3 of the Child Protection Law.
