Minister of Labor and Social Development Eng. Ahmed Bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi affirmed that the Ministry has established a public administration concerned with social responsibility to organize and promote sustainable development of this field. He pointed out that the participation of social responsibility from the private sector achieves the contribution of the non-profit sector in GDP to 5% Al-Rajhi said in his speech during the opening of the first forum of social responsibility in Riyadh, in the presence of the Deputy Minister for Social Development Dr. Tammadr Bint Yousif Al-Ramah, the ambassadors of social responsibility and a number of specialists and interested In this regard, the Ministry seeks through this forum to unite efforts and integration with all parties in the field of social responsibility and cooperation with all stakeholders to achieve the objectives of the vision of the Kingdom in social responsibility. Al Rajhi pointed out that the Kingdom has adopted ISO26000 as a social responsibility standard in Saudi Arabia in 2018. This is a positive and positive indicator for enhancing the social responsibility aspect, adding: "We look forward to linking and strengthening the relationship between the private sector and the non-profit sector through social responsibility." He pointed out that the Ministry is working on activating projects and initiatives aimed at encouraging volunteerism within the National Transformation Program, one of the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, in a high quality way to encourage community adoption and to organize, enable and disseminate the culture of volunteering, which is reflected in increasing the number of volunteer hours and raising the economic value of volunteering and increasing opportunities. In order to reach one million volunteers in 2030. The Minister thanked the donors, individuals and companies who have entered into partnerships with the Ministry for this outstanding national work and thanked the Ministry's partners for the ambassadors of social responsibility. Social responsibility has paid high attention and has been followed by leaps and successes in this area. During the meeting, 13 social partnership agreements were signed by the Undersecretary for Social Development, Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Zubin, in the presence of the Minister and Deputy Minister for Social Development, and the Social Responsibility Observatory was launched. The workshop will include workshops and sessions, in which a group of experts, specialists and those interested in social responsibility will participate to discuss the sustainable development of social responsibility.
