Vice Governor of Al-Qassim Region Prince Fahad bin Turki bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz oversaw a number of support programs that the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) offers during his participation in the nationalization gathering.

The gathering which took place at the King Khalid Cultural Center in Buraidah city aimed to nationalize indoor shopping centers and malls in the region.

The vice governor listened to Eng. AbdulRahamn Al-Mutairi, deputy director for employment support at HRDF, who gave explanation on all training and employment programs that support male and female job seekers in the region.

Additionally, HRDF provides a number of employment services that allow employers in the region to share their job vacancies while job seekers can find them on the national labor gateway (www.taqat.sa), in addition to having access to other incentives.

Previously, HRDF launched 10 e-training portfolios via the Doroob platform to support the nationalization decision. Around 8,000 trainees joined two types of training programs including customer service and shop manager, which was in cooperation with large companies in the retail sector.

The e-training program ‘Doroob’, which is one of the HRDF’s initiatives, is expected to offer training courses for those wishing to work in the shopping centers, a move that facilitates employment of students and job seekers as well as meets the needs of employers in terms of qualified national candidates.

The gathering comes as part of the guided nationalization and social development program, and is organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development’s branch in the region, HRDF, the Social Development Bank (SDB) and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
