Dr. al-Ghafis instructs officials to implement and oversee nationalization programs in regions

H.E. Minister of Labor and Social Development Dr. Ali bin Nasser al-Ghafis instructed directors of the ministry’s branch offices to oversee decisions which have been issued to implement nationalization programs in various regions of the Kingdom.

It also includes upcoming decisions that allow Saudi men and women to find decent and suitable job opportunities in the midst of a motivating and productive environment, Al-Ghafis said during a workshop.

It was attended by Saleh al-Humaidan, vice minister of labor and social development, alongside senior MLSD officials, which took place at the ministry’s HQ on Sunday.

The minister stressed the ministry and participating entities have agreed to activate joint work and carry out programs aiming to nationalize sectors in the labor market, as well as overseeing their implantation in the regions and intensifying nationalization and inspection efforts.

At the workshop, al-Ghafis pointed out the endorsement of nationalization program in the regions with the aim of supporting and enhancing integration among the participating entities and increasing percentage of productive nationalization, stressing the importance to focus on capabilities of each region with implementing related decisions and programs.

The minister of labor and social development urged the officials to continue executing inspection campaigns and field visits to private establishments in the regions in order to ensure that they comply with the regulations and decisions.

He pointed out that the workshop is in a bid to double efforts, improve and develop initiatives and programs of MLSD and its affiliating entities, ensuring and improving the performance level and quality of services provided to MLSD customers and beneficiaries.
