The Domestic Labor Program (Musaned) allows customers to review a list of local recruitment offices and companies that are licensed in the labor market, as well as labor-exporting countries that signed bilateral agreements with the Kingdom.

Its website, which affiliated to the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, displays recruitment expenses and lengths of recruitment process along with penalties imposing on offices and companies that fail to comply with the fixed expenses and durations.

The labor inspectors conducted around 661 field visits to recruitment offices and companies in various parts of the Kingdom during the period from Jan. to Apr. of the current year to ensure they follow recruitment regulations, whereas a number of offices got suspended because of their failure to stick to the agreed expenses and committing other violations.

MLSD spokesman Khaled Abalkhail urged all the ministry’s customers to report offices and companies that fail to comply with the fees in the Musaned website through official channels, pointing out those who got deceived can file a complaint through contacting the customer center no. (19911) as the ministry is keen to protect the rights of customers and ensure interests of all parties.

Abalkhail said the website allows customers to review licensed recruitment offices and companies, nationalities and occupations of workers, as well as understanding rights of domestic workers and employers and obligations of the two sides during the contract period, urging everyone who wish to recruit male and female domestic workers to benefit from the Musaned website via http://www.musaned.gov.sa.

The spokesman highlighted the program comes as part of the ministry’s keenness to conceptualize and continue the contractual relationships among the parties as it helps stabilize the market and control recruitment prices, as well as offering quality and suitable services for Saudi nationals and residents, alike.

Abalkhail added the Musaned website provides customers access to recruitment documents and forms that related entities offer, warning them not to deal with unlicensed brokers and agencies that falsely promote Musaned services. The ministry believes that the customers are responsible to submit all documents through the Musnaed, he added.
