MLSD undertakes programs and initiatives that effectively empower Saudi nationals in labor market: Dr. al-Ghafis stresses at Asbar World Forum 2017

Minister of Labor and Social Development Dr. Ali bin Nasser al-Ghafis said the ministry works on a number of programs and initiatives aiming to empower Saudi nationals to effectively serve their country and their society, as well as provide them all success tools with supporting them amid a suitable work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
Dr. al-Ghafis added we continue following steps to enhance their presence in the labor market, as well as in various sectors, activities and occupations.
The ministry is working on achieving the Kingdom’s Vision which requires from everyone’s contribution as the vision is conclusive and futuristic for what we should be for the sake of thriving economy and sustainable development, he addressed his keynote speech at the opening of the Asbar World forum 2017 in Riyadh on Tuesday.
The minister of labor and social development highlighted the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 emphasizes crucial and vital targets and seeks to achieve sustainable development through development of innovation-supported digital economy, support national pioneering companies in specific fields and enhance their presence at a global level and turn promising local companies into regionally and internationally-recognized leading companies.
It also offers full-fledged support for those who achieve excellency at priority fields through supporting their innovative and entrepreneurial initiatives, enhancing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as increasing the contribution of SME to the economy and employment with generating job opportunities in the field of innovation and empowering the nonprofit organizations to achieve utmost effect and focus on sustainability and innovation, Dr. al-Ghafis spoke before the participants of the forum.
Dr. al-Ghafis said the second edition of the forum which focuses on creativity and innovation comes within the Kingdom’s direction to achieve a leading position in the world by investing in Saudis’ minds and advanced technologies, provide total support for talents in various fields, supporting initiatives, empower establishments and build quality systems for education, training and knowledge, which receives undivided attention from the leadership along with its keenness to support such development programs and projects.
The minister extended his thanks to Governor of the Riyadh Region HRH Faisal bin Bander bin Abdulaziz for patronizing the event alongside the participants and attendees from the public and private sectors,
