Inspection teams of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development have conducted 727 inspection visits to recruitment companies and offices in various regions of the Kingdom since the start of 2017 to ensure they comply with recruitment regulations and stipulations as well as the executive regulation of the Labor Law on offering labor services.
MLSD Spokesman Khaled Abalkhail said the clampdown on the recruitment offices and companies uncovered 521 violations related to the executive regulation of the Labor Law, the provisions on recruitment activity and labor services and breach of contract signed with customers.
The spokesman urged the ministry’s customers to report violations related to recruitment offices and companies through its official channels, pointing out those who get deceived by such service providers can file a complaint through contacting the customer center no. (19911) or at any of the labor offices found across various regions in the Kingdom.
He emphasized the ministry’s keenness to protect the rights of Saudi citizens, penalize violating manpower agencies and ensure interests of all involved parties, saying they can visit the Musaned website (https://www.musaned.gov.sa/) to review affairs of the domestic worker recruitment.
The spokesman also stressed that the inspection campaigns and rounds would never lose momentum to check compliance of various recruitment offices and companies with the recruitment regulations and stipulations.
