Digital transformation will enhance labor and social development services provided to MLSD beneficiaries: Dr. al-Rammah

H.E. Deputy Minister for Labor and Social Development for development sector Dr. Tamader bint Youssef al-Rammah emphasized the importance of digital transformation in realizing the Saudi Vision 2030, which raises the effectiveness of services that MLSD offers to Saudi citizens across the country. Dr. al-Rammah pointed out during a workshop on ‘Digital Transformation Strategy’ on Monday in Riyadh the ministry’s commitment to execute its initiatives and review services offered to an array of beneficiaries, adding the best utilization of technologies will leave a positive impact on the ministry’s services. The ministry’s digital transformation strategy aims to achieve a number of objectives such as improving service quality, reducing application expenses and creating resilience for current resilience, which effectively contributes to the improvement of services provided to the beneficiaries, the deputy minister for labor and social development added. Additionally, she stressed the importance of follow-up on cases according to clear work methodology and based on unified standards and practices adopted by the ministry and partners in a bid to meet the ministry’s interest towards the beneficiaries who use its services. Ali Rajhi, general supervisor for IT at MLSD, displayed the strategic project plan to achieve the digital transformation and its methodology with the aim of implementing the strategy. Additionally, Rajhi said the digital transformation strategy tackles the public-private partnership (PPP), the quality of life program, national transformation initiatives, the financial balance program, joint vision directives and the ministry’s inputs in order to understand various digital needs which are the cornerstone to build the strategy.
