MLSD, RCCI organize 7th edition of career fair for female beneficiaries

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) organized the 7th edition of the Career Fair for Social Security Female Beneficiaries, which was in cooperation with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The career fair which took place at the Social Security Office in Riyadh was attended by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shafiei, deputy minister for social security at MLSD, Mansour Al-Shathri, vice chairman of RCCI, and a great number of private-sector entities. A total of 1,356 job opportunities were presented at the career fair as the female beneficiaries was briefed about the ministry and its affiliated entities’ programs including the Children Hospitality Program ‘Qurrah’, the Transpiration Support Program for the Working Woman ‘Wusool’ and the ‘Tamheer’ OJT Program. Dr. Al-Shafiei clarified the ministry seeks to achieve the objectives of the National Transformation Program through empowering the female beneficiaries in the workforce and making employment channels, startups and independent business available for them. Meanwhile, the nationalization of economic activities comes as part of the Social Security Department’s core projects to empower social security beneficiaries in the workforce. In cooperation with the private sector, the department has held 55 employment forums to connect employers and job seekers in various social security offices across the Kingdom.
